The upper locating plate for the radiator shutters photographed from the rear (inside). This shot shows the nearside half with the outer shutter on the right. The centre, 3rd, 5th & 6th shutters do not have collars and split pins on the spindles. Bottom right can be seen the corroded remains of one of the two return springs (one for each side of the radiator). The black discolouration of the shutters is 65 year's worth of grime which was removed with solvent and elbow grease. |
