Despite having had the chassis steam cleaned last year; despite having applied liberal coats of de-greasing agent; despite having brushed, scrubbed, poked and prodded all offending debris - some sections of the chassis were STILL FILTHY! It would seem that some of the old grease had been painted over. More filth arrived and was neatly sealed into place with over-spray, age and malice. The only way to remove it from castellated nuts and obscure crevices was with my wife's steam gun, numerous picks, and a compressed air gun. |

The very useful steam gun - now a well loved member of the workshop rather than a domestic appliance. |
