It took the best part of 3 hours to turn the engine over - quite a difficult job by oneself.
Note that the front of the block sits on the stand cross-member without fouling the timing cover or blocks. As mentioned earlier, the internal length of the stand should be 31.5 inches. I have had to use wooden chocks at the other end.
