The scratch marks in the muck are the result of some half-hearted cleaning attempt by an earlier visitor. The oil scroll on the fan pulley runs on the hole with a clearance of .002". The extension at the top, with the elongated hole, is the mounting stand for the cooling fan and its adjuster. |
